'Seeing Red" Casting Call! Feb 12 & 13th!

Award Winning Dark Harvest Productions is currently seeking Cast for our upcoming short film “Seeing Red”. This is a short independent film (NON-UNION) with a extremely limited budget. These positions are not paid, but we can offer IMDB Credit, food on set and a copy of the final film on DVD. Our last two films have won “Best Short Film” awards as well as screening at Festivals nationwide, so there is a lot of opportunity for exposure with this project and we feel this is going to be our best project yet!

WE ARE CASTING FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES:

STEVE: Male, Late 20’s to Late 30’s, Good Looking and Athletic. Steve has the outward appearance of a normal guy, but in reality is a serial rapist. He is relatively attractive but has deep-rooted self-esteem issues and sadistic sexual fantasies; this makes it an inability for him to have a “real” relationship with women outside of sex. His self-esteem issues cause him to avoid actual social interactions or courtship with women, and to instead force women into sex.

VICKY: Female, Mid 20’s to Mid 30’s. Appears to be your typical attractive upper middle class trophy/housewife, she has expensive taste in just about everything. Her expensive clothes, social sophistication and beautiful face hide her true self, part of a serial killing duo that has more in common with Hannibal Lecture than any of any of the Desperate Housewives.

(PREFER SOMEONE COMFORTABLE WITH NUDITY FOR "VICKY" ROLE BUT NOT NECCESSARY)

CHRIS: Male Early 30’s to Late 40’s. Chris is Vicky’s male counterpart, a good looking, well-educated and sophisticated man from an Upper Middle class upbringing. Chris shares Vicky’s murderous passions, the duo travel the country seeking victims of a similar background to their own.

Supporting Cast:

LIQUOR STORE CLERK- a clerk at a liquor store (Non-speaking, Please do not attend Casting Call for this role alone)

NEWS ANCHOR - (Male or Female) Must be attractive, articulate.
